How God Leads You to Your Spouse

Miracle Prayer to Get Married Soon

Do you know how God leads you to your spouse? It is important to have someone in your life who will not only understand you but also accept you for who you are.

It’s nice to have a person in your life that can help lift you when you are down, cheer you on when times are tough, celebrate with you when things are good, and laugh with you through the tough times.

A man or woman can be alone without being lonely, but the idea of getting married is to find a life partner that will make you happy.

Does God Predestine Your Spouse
Loneliness is a disease

A lot of people do not like loneliness and they want to share their lives with someone else. When you are single you have nobody who cares about your problems, worries, and sorrows which could make such experiences very painful and sometimes unbearable.

That’s why you need a wife or husband in your life.

How to Get Over the Feeling of Loneliness

I am sure you know loneliness, but you may not be aware of the fact that it is a disease.

This is because loneliness has been considered as one of those conditions that people don’t like to talk about because they feel that they will manage by themselves.

Loneliness can happen when you go on a trip for work or school, when you finish a relationship, or when your family moves away.

This feeling of loneliness is something that most people have to deal with throughout their lives, but it doesn’t have to be permanent.

According to the National Health and Aging Trends, over 44 million adults in the United States (or 18%) report feeling lonely. That’s a lot of people, many of who do not have any idea what they should do to get out of the situation.

Marriage is one of the ways that provide a permanent solution to the problem of loneliness, especially for people who have reached marriageable age.

God hates loneliness. He said in the book of Genesis concerning Adam, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.” Genesis 2:18 esv.

That was what brought about the coming of Eve the wife of Adam. God formed herby making Adam to sleep and took one of his ribs which He used to form the first woman on earth.

This singular act proves to us that God fully supports marriage, and He loves family. There was no place in the Bible where it was stated that Adam or Eve was lonely.

They were perfect matches for each other, hence they were able to provide what was missing in the life of each other.

You can experience this too when you know how God leads you to your spouse.

This could be the reason why Adam found it difficult to refuse when his wife gave him the forbidden fruit to eat, and why he never divorced her when God drove them out of the Garden of Eden.

The first couple weathered the storm

Adam could find no other creature who can play the role Eve was playing in his life. Instead of sending her away, he stuck to his wife because he preferred her above any other being God created.

How to Know God’s Will in A Relationship?

Adam and Eve can be described as the best couple in the Bible. You don’t know how successful marriage is by what the couples in it enjoyed. It is what they have survived together that determines how successful their marriage is.

The first couple in the Bible survived the battle that removed them from the beautiful garden where God placed them and they remained together.

It was never recorded for once in the Bible that Adam blamed his wife for the misfortune that befell him.

The marriage was able to weather the storm because God was involved. It was God that created Eve and brought her to Adam. She was God’s choice for him.

God cannot make a mistake. He is the best matchmaker who can help you lay the right foundation in marriage, especially when you allow Him to have His way in your life.

When you know how God leads you to your spouse?

Many people are confused about how to know God’s will when it comes to dating or marriage. They feel frustrated because they don’t know if they should just trust their feelings or follow the advice of their parents and friends.

The Bible tells us that God knows what is best for us, so if we will seek His guidance, He will help us make wise choices. Jeremiah 29:11 says “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

God wants the best for us in marriage, this is why He wants to get involved. He wants us to marry the right person ordained for us.

There can never be another factor more important than this in marriage.
Whoever misses it at this point can never get it right again.

In the life of a Christian man, there is no greater calling than marriage. When two people get married, they are embarking on a journey together that will last till death do them part.

There is nothing like divorce in the dictionary of God.

There is no experimenting in marriage. That is where unmarried couples that are living together and every other person that is involved in a relationship outside marriage are getting it wrong.

No matter how long you spend dating, you can never have a full understanding of the characters and nature of your partner.

It takes God to open your eyes and lead you so that you don’t make the wrong choice.

God created man and woman to complement each other and gave them different roles: man as leader and woman as a follower.

God designed marriage so that men would be led by their wives, who would submit to their leadership.

The Bible calls this “submitting to one another out of reverence for Christ” (Ephesians 5:21).

How to Put God at the Center of Your Relationship?

To know how God leads you to your spouse, you must remember this scripture; “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33

The only thing that can truly make your relationship last forever is putting God at its center. If we want our relationships with family members, friends, and partners to be healthy and loving, we need God at the center of them.

A lot of people have no idea how to cope with problems in their relationships, especially those who have been hurt before. It’s not easy to forget past hurts and trust someone again, but there is nothing that God cannot do.

He can give you a new beginning, such that you will have the ability to hold a relationship successfully.

If God can restore what Job lost and more, surely He can restore your broken relationship. He can lead you to a new partner who will be the perfect match for your life.

Don’t give up on marriage but learn to trust in God and He will grant your heart’s desires.

God wants you to put Him at the center of your relationship because He loves you. His love for you was so strong that He sent Jesus Christ to die for you and me.

Marriage is not what you can handle on your own no matter how intelligent or experienced you are. You need the One who knows the end from the beginning to help you.

Things to Do While Waiting On Your God-Given Spouse

Waiting on your spouse could be a long and lonely journey. But, there’s no need to suffer in silence. There are many things you can do while waiting for the one that God has for you.

Trust while patiently waiting on God for your spouse

Because of the length of time involved in finding a spouse, it’s important to maintain your trust in God while patiently waiting.

If you are single, then you are probably looking forward to marriage. If so, you have already experienced several years of being single.

Because it takes many years to find the right person for marriage, there is no other period in life that takes longer than this one.

You may not feel like today is the day that your future spouse will walk through the door or call on the phone, but somewhere down the road you will meet them and marry them!

Whether it’s a woman or a man, we all want to find someone who will love us and care for us, but we can’t do that by ourselves. This is why we must trust God while patiently waiting on him for our spouse.

Work on your relationship with God

What does it mean to work on your relationship with God? It’s not just about reading the Bible and praying. The key is in looking at God in a new way and experiencing Him differently than you have before.

When we look at God in the light of His holiness we begin to see ourselves in a new way.

When we realize that He has already forgiven us for our sin, but that He still loves us, we become free from guilt and shame. We can then live life with joy and freedom because even when bad things happen, we know how much God loves us.

This is the time for you to work on your relationship with God. It doesn’t need to be a lot of work—just make sure that your relationship is healthy, and spend time thinking about God throughout your day

Developing a close relationship with God will help you deal with the stresses of this world. Having Him as your shield gives you something to lean on when things are difficult.

Also, if He knows what’s going on in our lives, then He can prepare us for the trials that are coming down the road, whether it’s big or small.

Work on your relationship with yourself

The first step to a successful relationship with another person is having a successful relationship with yourself.

The more we care for ourselves, the more we’ll be able to care for others. If you’re struggling with self-love and acceptance, it can be hard to show compassion and affection toward others.

The problem is that many of us don’t feel deserving of love because we haven’t learned how to love ourselves.

A lot of us have an internal battle between who we are and who we want to be. We project our fears onto other people so they become a mirror image of what’s going on inside of us.

Our fear prevents us from being open toward others, even when it would make life easier.

Work on your relationship with others

Relationships are the cornerstone of our society. They are what bind us together, what gives us purpose and meaning in life. Relationships are also easy to put on the back burner until you get time for it.

However, oftentimes people feel lonely or isolated because they don’t have these relationships in their lives. If you want to live a more fulfilled life, then you need to build quality relationships with other people who care about your needs and wants too.

There are lots of ways to build relationships with other people. One of the most powerful skills in business and life is learning how to make people like you. You can use this skill in any situation – at work, at home, on vacation, or even on a cruise ship!

“So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” Matthew 7:12

Marriage is all about relationships. Knowing how to relate well with people can help you in your relationship with your spouse after you get married.

Prepare some practical things for your future marriage

Marriage can be a little scary, especially to those who are doing it for the first time. With that being said, you have to prepare yourself for it. If you’re getting married soon, then you should start putting things in place for your future wife.

Preparing practical things for your future wife will put her at ease once the day has finally come. You need to do these things if you want her to feel secure and comfortable living the rest of her life with you.

There are so many things that she needs and would appreciate from you, so being thoughtful is important!

The most popular day in a woman’s life is her wedding day, followed by the birth of a child. It is also one of the most stressful days. Preparation for a wedding can be overwhelming and that’s why it is crucial to start preparing early.

As you know, there are several aspects involved in planning your big day: from the location to choosing your dress or even deciding what you want to eat on your wedding night.

But one thing that should never be overlooked is pre-wedding preparation – both mental and physical – because this will determine how well the entire program will go.

The Place of Prayer in Choosing Who to Marry

The place of prayer in choosing who to marry is simply overlooked! When it comes to marriage, many factors go into the decision.

Concerns about children and finances are very prominent. But what is usually forgotten is the importance of prayer in the process. Prayer can help you find someone who truly complements you instead of just marrying for love alone.

Although prayer shouldn’t be used as a method of forcing God to reveal his plan for your life, it can be an integral part of that process.

The decision of who to marry is one of the most important decisions a person will make in his or her life. Yet many people don’t think about prayer as they are choosing a spouse.

They choose based on what we call “chemistry” — that feeling you get when you meet someone and want to spend time with them — than they do on godly principles like submission, godliness, and fruitfulness in marriage.

The Place of Prayer in Choosing Who to Marry
Divorce is not God’s plan for man

Prayer can help you get in touch with the Lord and draw closer to him during this time of uncertainty. It can also be used to open your heart and mind up so that he may work through you when searching for potential mates.

The state of marriage in the United States is dire. The divorce rate hovers around 50%, and an estimated 3/4’s of all marriages will end in divorce.

Many factors contribute to this problem – the nature of 21st-century life, the fact that we no longer live in a community where we’re accountable to each other, and so on – but one factor that I believe deserves serious attention is our approach to dating and marrying one another. We have neglected the place of prayer.

Social media has put more finesse into how we relate. It is so convenient that many have accepted it as the ultimate solution. They don’t see any need to involve God or wait upon Him for His guidance anymore.

The result is obvious today. If you want your marriage to be a good example of Christian marriage, you must involve God. This is how God leads you to your spouse.
