Bible Verses About Teaching Children Explained
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.Proverbs 22:6 (esv).
Children need training, they are too young to differentiate what is right from what is wrong.
Most of the time they do what they see the adults around them, especially their parents, doing.
You have to consciously commit yourself to training your child. It is the responsibility that God has given unto you, and He will be angry with you if you fail to do it.
Whatever a child learns stays with him forever. That is why the Bible says when he grows old he will not depart from it.
Don’t let your child learn what he would build his life upon from Television, social media, friends, neighbors, and others. You must teach him yourself.
Don’t Provoke Them
Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.Ephesians 6:4 (esv).

Children like this grow up to become unbalanced emotionally in life. They harbor hatred, and anger against their parents, and any adults that dare want to correct them.
The Bible says instead of provoking them we should nurture them in the ways of the Lord.
We should discipline them in love, so that they will know the reason why they are being punished, and get remorseful for whatever wrongs they have done, and desist from it forthwith.
Teach Them Always
6 And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.Deuteronomy 6:6-7 (esv).

Saints like Daniel, Joseph, David had these fruits in them right from their young age, and they excelled in their lives and callings.
The fruits of the Holy Spirit develop in us as we obey him. The more you yield to the leading and the guidance of the Holy Ghost, the more he grows big in you, and the more you manifest these fruits.
You become a blessing to people around you, and though they may condemn your faith in Jesus, they cannot deny the fact that God is working through you, and that carrying his presence brings a difference.

He also encouraged them to relate these experiences to their children. Though these children may not witness these encounters, by hearing them from their parents, they can also learn to put their trusts in God.
Do the same with your child, share your life experiences; before and after you met Christ.
